We have created an efficient treatment schedule so that patients who live far away can visit our clinic without difficulty. Standard frequency of visits: Initial consultation and examination: 1 day (approximately 1 hour or more), cell collection: 1 day (approximately 1 hour), treatment: 1 day (approximately 1-2 hours). Subsequent follow-up: approximately once every 3 months. Consideration for patients who live far away: We strive to make visits to our clinic more efficient by performing multiple procedures at once and utilizing online consultations (for follow-up observations). Please feel free to inquire about collaboration with local medical institutions. Many patients receive treatment from Hokkaido, Kyushu, and overseas.

  • Do you accept patients from overseas?

2. Cell Revival®

  • Are there any side effects or risks? Is it safe?

Cell Revival® is a safe treatment that uses your own cells, with an extremely low risk of rejection. Commitment to safety: – Only cells that meet strict quality control standards are used – Cultivation in a dedicated clean room – A team medical system with specialists in various fields – Appropriate treatment is determined through detailed testing before treatment Minor side effects: – Temporary swelling or pain at the injection site – Mild feeling of heat (resolves in 1-2 days) No serious side effects have been reported, but if any do occur, specialists will respond promptly.

  • How is Cell Revival® different from other regenerative medicines?

The greatest feature of Cell Revival® is that it combines the necessary treatments. Many regenerative medicines simply administer stem cells, but stem cells cannot function adequately in conditions of chronic inflammation. Our clinic uses Japan's only macrophage therapy, which first improves chronic inflammation and creates a foundation for stem cells to exert their maximum effect. This three-step approach (examination → pretreatment → treatment) promises to produce a higher therapeutic effect than conventional regenerative medicine.

  • How long after treatment will I see results? Do the results last?

While the time it takes to see results varies depending on the symptoms, many patients experience the following progression: 2-4 weeks after treatment: reduced fatigue and improved sleep quality; 1-2 months: reduced joint pain and improved skin quality; 3-6 months: clear improvement in chronic symptoms. Because macrophage therapy regulates the internal environment, the effects tend to last longer than with conventional regenerative medicine. Furthermore, we aim to maintain and improve the effects by regularly measuring inflammatory markers over a maximum follow-up period of two years and considering additional treatments as needed. We also provide guidance on lifestyle changes to help maximize and sustain the effects of treatment.

  • What symptoms is it effective for? Can it treat my symptoms?

Cell Revival® can treat a wide range of symptoms. Symptoms for which it is particularly effective include joint pain (knee osteoarthritis, lower back pain, arthritis, etc.), menopausal symptoms (hot flashes, fatigue, depression), chronic fatigue (fatigue of unknown cause), lifestyle-related diseases (diabetes, decreased liver function), and beauty concerns (sagging skin, thinning hair). First, we conduct a chronic inflammation test to accurately understand the condition of your body and determine whether treatment is appropriate. Symptoms that you have given up on, believing they are just due to aging, may actually be caused by chronic inflammation.

  • How long will the treatment take? What is the estimated cost?

The treatment period varies depending on the symptoms, but the general procedure is as follows: Initial consultation and examination: 1 day (starting from approximately 1 hour), macrophage therapy (pre-treatment): 2-4 weeks, stem cell culture: 3-4 weeks, treatment: 1 day (approximately 1 hour), total: approximately 2-3 months. After that, follow-up will be conducted for up to 2 years while monitoring the condition. Regarding costs: As costs vary depending on the symptoms and scope of treatment, a detailed estimate will be provided during counseling (initial consultation fee: 3,500 yen). We also accept inquiries about installment payments.

3. Stem cell therapy

  • Is insurance applicable? Can I receive a medical expense deduction?

Insurance Coverage: Stem cell therapy is currently not covered by insurance and is an elective medical treatment. The full cost is borne by the patient, but we are happy to discuss payment in installments. Medical Expense Deductions: Stem cell therapy may be eligible for medical expense deductions. – If your annual medical expenses exceed 10 yen, you can deduct them on your tax return. – Treatment costs, testing costs, and transportation costs to hospitals are also covered. – Please keep your receipts safe. Estimated Costs: During your initial consultation (3,500 yen), we will provide you with a detailed estimate based on your symptoms. Costs vary depending on the treatment, so please consult with us first. *For more details, please consult with a tax accountant.

  • Where are the stem cells collected? Is the collection process painful?

At our clinic, we collect stem cells in two main ways: 1. Collection from adipose tissue (most common) – A few grains of rice worth of fat is collected from the abdomen or thighs – Local anesthesia is used, so there is almost no pain – Collection takes approximately 20-30 minutes – Normal activities can be resumed the same day 2. Collection from the ilium (hip bone) – This is done under local anesthesia – Patients must rest after collection The method to be chosen will be determined by your doctor based on your symptoms and treatment goals.

  • How many millions of stem cells will there be after culturing? Is it more effective if there are more?

In our hospital's infusion therapy, the standard number of stem cells used is 2 million. If the number of cells is too high, it temporarily increases the burden on the capillaries and, in the worst case, can cause shock symptoms. Stem cell therapy drugs for treating spinal cord injuries available in Japan have a maximum dose of 334 million times the patient's body weight, and the amount of cells is adjusted for safety reasons. While it may seem that a higher number of cells is better, our hospital prioritizes safe treatment for patients, and uses a standard of 2 million cells to strike a balance between safety and therapeutic effectiveness.

  • How long do the effects of treatment last? Are retreatments necessary?

The duration of effect varies from person to person, but the following progression is generally seen in many patients. Duration of effect: Effects last approximately 6 months to 2 years after the initial treatment. If chronic inflammation is improved, effects can be expected to last longer, but by combining it with lifestyle changes, effects will last even longer. Regarding retreatment: Additional treatment will be considered depending on symptoms and test results. Most patients maintain effects by receiving additional treatment around a year, and regular examinations will determine the optimal timing. At our clinic, we follow up for up to 2 years to check the durability of effects and suggest additional treatment if necessary.

  • What is the difference between this and other stem cell treatments?

The greatest feature of our stem cell therapy is our unique three-stage treatment method called "Cell Revival®." Differences from conventional stem cell therapy: 1. Pre-treatment: Improve the internal environment with Japan's only macrophage therapy. 2. Visualization of effects: Quantify results with Epiclock testing and inflammatory marker testing. 3. Multi-disciplinary approach: Combine with PRP therapy and exosome therapy as needed. 4. Long-term follow-up: Continuous support for up to two years. By creating an environment where stem cells can function at their best before treatment, rather than simply injecting stem cells, we can expect even greater results.

  • Can anyone receive stem cell therapy? Are there any age restrictions?

Stem cell therapy can generally be performed on anyone over the age of 20. There is also a history of treatment on people over the age of 80. However, the following people cannot undergo the treatment: those with a history of cancer (confirmed by blood test), those with a serious infection, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and others who a doctor deems unsuitable for the treatment. The number of stem cells decreases with age, but their function can be restored using culture techniques, so even elderly people can expect to see satisfactory results. We will first determine suitability through a detailed examination.

4. Macrophage therapy

  • How can the effectiveness of macrophage therapy be confirmed?

At our clinic, we not only check for changes in symptoms, but also scientifically quantify the effectiveness of treatment. Effectiveness Measurement Methods: 1. Chronic inflammation testing – Changes in CRP, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNFα – Confirm reductions in inflammation levels before and after treatment 2. Improvement of clinical symptoms – Pain relief (assessed using a VAS scale) – Improved fatigue – Improved sleep quality 3. Immune function testing – Evaluation of macrophage function – Improvement in M1/M2 balance Time to see results: – After 2-3 weeks: Improvement in inflammatory markers – After 1 month: Subjective symptoms begin to improve – After 2-3 months: Sustained improvement Regular testing allows us to verify the effectiveness of treatment with objective data, eliminating any concerns you may have about whether the treatment is truly working.

  • Are there any side effects to macrophage therapy? Can it be taken alone?

Side effects: Macrophage therapy uses your own cells, so there are very few serious side effects. Minor side effects: – Mild pain or internal bleeding at the blood collection site – Slight feeling of heat after administration (resolves in 1-2 days) – Temporary swelling (joints) About standalone treatment: Macrophage therapy can be performed on its own. It is especially recommended for the following people: – Those with severe chronic inflammation – Those who have undergone stem cell therapy at another hospital but have not seen satisfactory results – Those who want to first improve their internal environment However, to achieve maximum results, we recommend combining it with subsequent stem cell therapy (Cell Revival®).

  • Why can't I get macrophage therapy at other regenerative medicine clinics?

Macrophage therapy requires special techniques and expertise. Reasons why only our clinic can offer it: 1. Exclusive contract: Treatment using techniques under an exclusive contract with an overseas institution 2. Treatment by specialists: A team of doctors well versed in macrophage therapy 3. Special culture techniques: Techniques for properly adjusting macrophages 4. Comprehensive treatment system: Systematized as Cell Revival® While other clinics generally only offer stem cell therapy, our clinic achieves even greater therapeutic effects by combining it with macrophage therapy as a pre-treatment.

  • What is macrophage therapy and why is it needed?

Macrophage therapy is a pretreatment treatment offered exclusively at our hospital in Japan (as of August 2025) to maximize the effectiveness of stem cell therapy. Macrophages: – A type of immune cell in the body – Normally, they act as "cleaners" to remove bacteria and damaged cells – In a healthy body, they switch to a "repair support" role, promoting tissue regeneration. Why is it necessary?: When chronic inflammation is present, macrophages remain fixed in their "cleaner" role and are unable to switch to a "repair support" role. As a result, even if stem cells are administered, the treatment is ineffective. Macrophage therapy promotes this switch, creating an environment in which stem cells can function at their full potential. Therefore, symptoms may improve with macrophage therapy alone.

  • What are the specific treatment methods and duration of macrophage therapy?

Macrophage therapy involves cultivating and adjusting macrophages collected from the patient's blood and returning them to the body. Treatment procedure: 1. Blood collection. 2. Macrophage isolation and cultivation (2-3 weeks). 3. Functional adjustment: From M1 type (cleaning role) to M2 type (repair support role). 4. Administration: Infusion or local injection. Treatment period: 2-4 weeks after blood collection, administered in 1-3 divided doses depending on symptoms. After macrophage therapy is completed, the patient will transition to stem cell therapy. The period will be adjusted depending on the degree of chronic inflammation.

5. iPS Exosome Therapy

  • Please tell me about the number of treatments, duration, and cost.

For more information, please see "Prices and Treatment Plans."

  • I've seen exosome therapy at other clinics, but what's the difference?

Our iPS exosome therapy offers three key differences. 1. We use the highest quality iPS exosomes. While conventional exosomes are derived from adult cells and vary in quality, ours are consistently high-quality, using 20 billion exosomes per vial. 2. Our unique combination therapy, "Cell Revival®," offers the following benefits: Other clinics administer exosomes alone; our clinic can combine them with macrophage therapy and stem cell therapy. By administering exosomes after correcting the internal environment, we maximize effectiveness. 3. Visualization of effects and long-term follow-up: Other clinics only subjectively evaluate effects; our clinic quantifies effects with inflammatory marker testing and provides up to two years of follow-up. While there are products on the market that use insufficiently purified or cells of unknown origin, our clinic uses only safe formulations created by iPS cell experts.

  • What symptoms does it treat? Will it improve my symptoms?

iPS exosome therapy can treat a wide range of conditions through both inflammation suppression and tissue repair. Particularly effective conditions: Joint and orthopedic conditions: – Osteoarthritis, arthritis – Back pain, stiff shoulders – Sports injuries – Joint pain where surgery is desired. Beauty and anti-aging: – Improved skin firmness and radiance – Reduced wrinkles and sagging – Improved thinning and hair loss. Systemic conditions: – Chronic fatigue, lethargy – Menopausal symptoms – Poor sleep quality – Prevention of cognitive decline. Other: – After-effects of COVID-19 – Diabetes, liver dysfunction – Neurological disorders. The optimal administration method will be selected and treatment will be provided based on the patient's symptoms. The appropriate treatment will be determined through an initial consultation.

  • What is the difference between regular exosomes and iPS exosomes?

The biggest differences are "youth" and "stable quality." Regular exosomes: – Produced from adult fat or bone marrow – Dependent on the donor's age (cells from a 70-year-old produce exosomes appropriate for a 70-year-old) – Quality varies from person to person – Quality fluctuates with each collection. iPS exosomes: – Produced from iPS cells (induced pluripotent stem cells) – Because the cells are rejuvenated, they consistently have a high repair effect – Uses regenerative medicine-grade iPS cells from a woman in her 20s – Stable quality and consistent effectiveness. Thanks to Professor Shinya Yamanaka's Nobel Prize-winning technology, iPS cells can function effectively even in the 80s. The effectiveness of iPS exosomes produced from these "age-appropriate cells" is expected.

  • Please tell me about the safety of iPS exosome therapy. Are there any side effects?

iPS exosome therapy is an extremely safe treatment because it uses substances secreted by cells rather than the cells themselves. Reasons for its safety: – Extremely low risk of rejection: Because exosomes are not cells, there is almost no immune rejection. – No risk of tumor formation: Unlike stem cell therapy, there is no need to worry about cell proliferation. – Strict quality control: Only medical-grade products manufactured in facilities licensed for specific cell processing are used. – Infectious disease testing: All products pass infection testing. Minor side effects: – Mild pain and swelling at the injection site (resolves within a few days) – Rarely, a mild feeling of heat (resolves within 1-2 days) – Temporary fatigue. No serious side effects have been reported to date. In the unlikely event of an adverse reaction, specialists will respond promptly.

6. PRP treatment

  • How many treatments will I need?

Although it depends on the symptoms, a one-year treatment plan typically involves 1-3 sessions for joint treatment, and 3 sessions at 3-4 week intervals for cosmetic purposes. Additional sessions will be considered depending on the results.

  • Is there anyone who cannot receive treatment?

Those with blood disorders, infections, malignant tumors, pregnant women, and those who are unable to give consent may not be eligible for treatment. Eligibility will be determined through a prior interview and examination.

  • When can I start to see results?

PRP therapy is a treatment that stimulates the body's natural healing process, so it does not have an immediate effect. Generally, most patients begin to see cosmetic results after 1-2 weeks and cosmetic results after 2-4 weeks. The maximum effect is reached after 1-3 months. This gradual improvement allows for more natural and lasting results.

  • Are there any side effects or downtime?

Because the patient's own blood is used, there is little risk of allergic or rejection reactions. Temporary swelling, bruising, and redness may occur at the injection site, but these will improve within a few days. Patients can resume their daily activities immediately after the procedure, and if facial injections are administered for cosmetic purposes, swelling or bruising can be easily covered with makeup. Patients should refrain from strenuous exercise for 2-3 days.

7. Arthritis

  • Are there any age restrictions? Can elderly people receive treatment?

Cell Revival® has no upper age limit, as long as you are over 20 years old. There is also a proven track record of treating many people over 80 years old. Consideration for the elderly: – Cell function is restored regardless of age using culture technology – Treatment methods that place less strain on the body are selected – Treatment plans tailored to each individual's physical strength In fact, the older you are, the more advanced your chronic inflammation becomes, so you tend to be more likely to feel the effects of Cell Revival®.

  • How long will the treatment take? Will I need to take time off work?

Estimated treatment period: – Initial examination and consultation: 1 day – Macrophage therapy (pretreatment): 2-4 weeks – Stem cell culture: 3-4 weeks – Total: Approximately 2-3 months Impact on work: – At the time of collection: Local anesthesia is used, normal activities can be resumed from the same day – After treatment: No hospitalization required, patients can return to work the next day – Regular visits: Approximately 1-2 times a month Many patients continue working while receiving treatment.

  • Is insurance applicable? What is the approximate cost of treatment?

Unfortunately, regenerative medicine is currently not covered by insurance and is therefore not an option. Regarding costs: – Varies depending on symptoms and scope of treatment – Detailed estimates will be provided during the initial consultation (3,500 yen) – Installment payment options are also available. Regarding medical expense deductions: – Annual medical expenses over 10 yen can be deducted through tax returns – Treatment costs, testing costs, and transportation costs to hospitals are also covered – Please keep receipts safe. We will first propose a treatment plan tailored to your symptoms via a free email consultation. *Please consult with a tax accountant for details.

  • Are there any side effects or risks? Is it safe?

Cell Revival® is a safe treatment with an extremely low risk of rejection because it uses your own cells. Commitment to safety: – Only cells that meet strict quality control standards are used – Cells are processed in a clean bench using specialized devices to prevent bacterial contamination – A team medical system with specialists in various fields – Safety is confirmed in advance through cancer cell testing Minor side effects: – Temporary swelling and pain at the collection site – Mild swelling at the injection site (resolves in 2-3 days) No serious side effects have been reported.

  • Does regenerative medicine for arthritis really work? How does it differ from other treatments?

Unlike conventional symptomatic treatments, Cell Revival® is a treatment that addresses the root cause of chronic inflammation.

    Differences from conventional treatment:
    - Painkillers and compresses: only temporarily suppress symptoms
    – Hyaluronic acid injections: Provides lubrication to joints but does not repair tissue
    – Surgery: requires hospitalization and places a heavy burden on the body
    – Cell Revival®: Improves chronic inflammation and regenerates tissue. Treatment can be performed on an outpatient basis, no hospitalization required.

At our clinic, we use inflammatory marker tests to quantify the effects and objectively confirm improvement. Most patients improve their joints within 3-6 months.
They have experienced improved movement and reduced pain.

  • What makes it different from other anti-aging treatments? Are supplements alone not enough?

Our Cell Revival® approach is fundamentally different from conventional anti-aging treatments. Differences from conventional anti-aging treatments: Supplements and infusions: – Temporary nutritional support – Does not address the underlying cause – Short-lasting effects – Wide individual differences Cosmetic medicine (e.g., hyaluronic acid): – Only improves appearance – Internal aging continues – Requires regular treatments Cell Revival®: – Treats the underlying cause of aging (chronic inflammation) – Promotes rejuvenation at the cellular level – Improves overall function – Long-lasting effects (up to two years of follow-up) The importance of an integrated approach: – Supplements are effective as a supplement – Maximizes results when combined with lifestyle changes – However, Cell Revival® is necessary for fundamental treatment This isn't just a treatment to make you look younger, it's a fundamental treatment that rejuvenates you from the inside out. That's our approach to anti-aging treatment.

  • What is the EpiClock test and how does it differ from your actual age?

The EpiClock test is a cutting-edge test that measures your "biological age." The difference between chronological age and biological age: – Chronological age: number of years since birth (chronological age) – Biological age: actual degree of aging at the cellular level What the test reveals: – Analyzes DNA methylation patterns to quantify the degree of cellular aging – Even if you are chronologically 50 years old, your biological age could be 40 (young) or 60 (progressed aging) – The rate of aging progression (accelerated or stable) – Objectively confirm the rejuvenation effects of treatment Significance of the test: – Understand the degree of aging using scientific data, not just "appearance" or "feeling" – Ability to compare changes before and after treatment numerically – Predict future health risks – Create a personalized treatment plan Example: If a person who is 60 years old improves their biological age to 55 after treatment, it means they have become 5 years younger at the cellular level.

  • I tend to get tired easily and have trouble concentrating. Could this be due to aging? Can treatment improve this?

"Persistent discomfort" is likely a sign of aging caused by chronic inflammation. Typical symptoms of aging include chronic fatigue, morning fatigue, decreased concentration and memory, lack of motivation, depression, poor sleep quality, joint pain and stiffness, and loss of skin firmness and luster. Symptoms are often minor and dismissed as simply due to age, and chronic inflammation cannot be detected during standard health checkups, leading to overlooking the symptoms as "aging" rather than "disease." Cell Revival® improves chronic inflammation, restores cellular function, and improves energy production. Many people experience a sense of lighter body, better morning wake-ups, and improved work efficiency within just 2-3 months. These discomforts are not inevitable; treatment can improve them.

  • What is chronic inflammation and how is it different from regular inflammation?

Chronic inflammation, also known as the "silent killer," is a low-level inflammation that progresses quietly within the body. Unlike acute inflammation, which is temporary inflammation caused by injury or infection (redness, swelling, pain, fever), chronic inflammation continues for a long period of time without noticeable symptoms (gradually damaging cells). It can persist for as long as 5 or 10 years without clear symptoms such as pain or swelling, gradually damaging cells and organs throughout the body. At our clinic, we quantify this "invisible inflammation" using inflammatory marker tests and aim to improve it through treatment.

  • Can aging really be "cured"? What does it mean that the WHO has approved it?

In 2018, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially classified aging as a "treatable disease" in the ICD-11. This marked a groundbreaking turning point in medical history. WHO's recognition demonstrates that aging is not an inevitable natural phenomenon, but a treatable condition. With the scientific understanding of the mechanism of chronic inflammation, the root cause of aging, now believed to be capable of delaying and improving the aging process through medical intervention. Our clinic's approach to aging treatment quantifies and visualizes chronic inflammation (inflammatory marker testing), measures aging at the cellular level (EpiClock testing), and aims to fundamentally improve chronic inflammation through Cell Revival®. Rather than simply giving up and saying, "It can't be helped because I'm getting older," we now live in an era where aging can be scientifically measured and treated.

11. Spinal stenosis

  • I have stenosis in both the cervical and lumbar spine. Can they be treated at the same time?

We start by accurately assessing your current condition.

  • I have been diagnosed with cauda equina. I do not have any urinary problems, but is it possible to treat it?

Even in the cauda equina type, Cell Revival® is a good candidate if the patient is at the stage where urinary problems are not present. Treatment approach for cauda equina type: – Focus on improving inflammation around the cauda equina nerves – Prevent secondary damage caused by nerve compression – Suppress progression of symptoms Important points: – Seek medical attention promptly if urinary problems appear – Regular neurological evaluations are important – Closely monitor changes in symptoms Early treatment increases the chances of preventing the progression of symptoms and maintaining quality of life.

  • Surgery has been recommended, but is there any chance of improvement without surgery?

The indications for spinal stenosis surgery vary depending on the severity of the symptoms. Cell Revival® is a new option for those considering surgery. Surgery is necessary when: – Rapidly progressing motor paralysis – Severe urinary and bowel problems – Severe cases that do not improve at all with conservative treatment Regenerative medicine is appropriate when: – Mild to moderate symptoms – Those who want to avoid the risks of surgery – Those whose symptoms remain after surgery At our hospital, orthopedic specialists will make the appropriate judgment and, if necessary, will advise you to prioritize surgery.

  • I have intermittent claudication due to spinal canal stenosis. Will regenerative medicine improve my walking distance?

Intermittent claudication (pain in the legs when walking that improves with rest) is a typical symptom of spinal stenosis. Cell Revival® has shown an improvement in walking distance in many patients. Mechanism of improvement: – Improves chronic inflammation around the nerves – Improves blood flow and increases oxygen supply to the nerves – Promotes the repair of damaged nerve tissue Actual improvement examples: – Limit to walking 100m → Ability to walk over 500m – Ability to go shopping without a break – Ability to resume leisurely walking Although results vary from person to person, many patients experience an improvement in their walking ability within 3-6 months.
