What are macrophages?
Macrophages are a type of immune cell that protects our bodies.
They are a type of white blood cell and are known as "cleaners" that deal with bacteria, viruses, broken cells, and other invading bacteria in the body.
However, the true importance of macrophages lies in their ability to transform beyond mere cleaning roles into "repair support" roles.
This "switching" of roles is key to the body's ability to heal properly.
The two roles of macrophages

How do macrophages function in a healthy body?
When our body is injured or inflamed, it repairs itself in the following sequence shown in the diagram. Macrophages play an important role in this process.
However, in the presence of chronic inflammation, this switch is disrupted, and macrophages become stuck in their cleaning role, stalling the repair process.

What are the specific treatment methods and duration of macrophage therapy?
Macrophage therapy involves cultivating and adjusting macrophages collected from the patient's blood and returning them to the body. Treatment procedure: 1. Blood collection. 2. Macrophage isolation and cultivation (2-3 weeks). 3. Functional adjustment: From M1 type (cleaning role) to M2 type (repair support role). 4. Administration: Infusion or local injection.
