Where are the stem cells collected? Is the collection process painful?

Collection from adipose tissue (most common) - A few grains of rice worth of fat is collected from the abdomen or thigh - Local anesthesia is used, so there is almost no pain - Collection takes approximately 20-30 minutes - Normal activities can be resumed the same day 2. How long do the effects of treatment last? Are retreatments necessary?
The duration of effect varies from person to person, but the following progression is generally seen in many patients. How many millions of stem cells will there be after culturing? Is it more effective if there are more?
In our hospital's infusion therapy, the standard number of stem cells used is 2 million. If the number of cells is too high, it temporarily increases the burden on the capillaries and, in the worst case, can cause shock symptoms. Stem cell therapy drugs for treating spinal cord injuries available in Japan have a maximum dose of 334 million times the patient's body weight, and the amount of cells is adjusted for safety reasons. While it may seem that a higher number of cells is better, our hospital prioritizes safe treatment for patients, and uses a standard of 2 million cells to strike a balance between safety and therapeutic effectiveness.
